Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo is one of the most famous diving destinations on the Mexican Pacific Coast. Mero Adventure offers daily trips to some of the most popular places to dive in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, providing beginners and certified divers the opportunity to discover the abundant diversity of marine life in the warm waters of Mexican Pacific Ocean. Non-certified Divers can dive in the hidden paradise cove Caleta de Chon behind Las Gatas Beach or at Zacatoso in Islas Blancas off Ixtapa after completing the course " Discover Scuba Diving."

Mero Adventure is a Dive Center with PADI Instructors that provides to the divers service and I equip of quality. Our dive boat "Mero" meets all the marine safety norms and of industry diving standards.

We make our decisions about which dive sites are visited based on the marine forcast and actual observed ocean conditions and the experience level of the dive participants. Both the Captain and the Dive Master will take these points in account before confirming the dive site on any given day. Conditioning factors include:

• height of the tide
• current direction & force
• wave height and frequency
• wind direction & force
• temperature
• visibility

We offer 4 hour trips in the morning and afternoon to some of the most popular dive sites on our coast.There is the option of single or double tank dives. Tanks are filled to 200 bar / 3000 PSI. Trips include certified instructor/ Dive Master, guide, equipment, snack and refreshments.
